Divine Feminine Spotlight... With Yours Truly

Happy day to all! As I sit and sip on my daily cup of herbal tea, I can see the rain lightly fall from my window. I feel a great renewal washing over my spirit today. There is a sense of gratitude as I recall the past ten months and all of the wonderful people and artists that have touched my life. As I move into a time of rest and rejuvenation for the last couple of months of the year, I anticipate creating a space for dreaming about what comes next.

What creations, collaborations, and connections are waiting for me in 2014? Ahhh... my heart beats with joy as I float into the clouds of possibility.

Are you all allowing yourself to dream? What possibilities are awaiting you as we close the year? I invite you to dream with me. I also invite you to celebrate all of the ups, downs, and achievements of your life.

Today, I am sharing with you my interview with the fabulous Shann Vander Leek, from the Transformation Goddess Experience. Check her out on the cover of Aspire Magazine. Woot! Woot! Her work has inspired me and I was honored she asked me to be a spotlight. Fancy a listen? Just click here? It's a short thirty minute interview about
The Goddess Chronicles, transformation, and yummy nourishment for the soul!

Thanks again to everyone who has shared this journey with me.

The Goddess Chronicles: An International Traveling Art Journal

This is my very first post for Blogtoberfest. Wish me luck ya'll.

Finally it's here!

I know you have been waiting patiently for the collaboration project of the year, but wait no more!

The Goddess Chronicles: An International Traveling Art Journal is now a digital book is complete and ready for you to order.
The artwork was created by 44 women from around the world. Each of the 64 pages is infused with love and is a visual feast for the eyes.

Thank you for your patience and your support. It has been a true labor of love.

Since putting this dream out into the world I have received so much love and joy from each and every participant.

I wanted to share a few of the beautiful words I have received…
“My heart jumped out of my chest at the thought of joining your community and contributing .... I would love so very much to be a part of your project and feel the weaving Speak to us all.” Robina D’Arcy-Fox

The Goddess Chronicles Journal is a fantastic idea and dream that is going to be a reality! I would love to create some art for a book that gets passed on to future goddesses. What wisdom we can share! I already have some ideas! I hope you will consider me as a part of your dream.” Jetta Heinen
Here are the beautiful women artists that participated in this year's Goddess Chronicles Art Journal...

If you have just heard of this project and have found my webpage, I am so happy that you did! Let me take you on the magical carpet ride that has been The Goddess Chronicles. Imagine a deep yearning from within your soul. Days and nights pass by knowing that you want to do more and give more. Think about the skills and talents that you have and how they can be used to do good things in the world...

That was me in late 2012. Deeply craving the collaboration with other artists and the need to positively affect a local community of girls and women is how The Goddess Chronicles began. I sat with the idea for a couple of months and wondered just who would be interested in such a collaboration. A few times, I talked myself right out of moving forward because of the "gremlin" who told me nobody would care.

One day as I bathed my 3 year-old twin nieces, I sat back to let them play in the tub. I giggled as I watched them splash around in pure joy. Their little lights beaming reminded me of a commitment to live life with intention, purpose, love and faith.

Of course nothing went as I planned it. How silly to think that I could control such a magnificent force. In the beginning the artists totaled 71. I had no idea how I would logistically manage it but I said YES to each woman who was called to the work, how could I not? It was a massive coordination project on my part and the upfront costs were more than I had planned. Initially I had planned to buy one journal and have it rotate around to each person. This was now impossible since there were well over 70 interested from different parts of the world.

I decided to by journals and mail them within regions of the world to save artists shipping costs. From San Antonio to Australia was super expensive but I knew in my heart that it wasn't about the money or the time I spent, it was about affecting real change in the world and it was about showing Justice and Lyric to DREAM BIG! Journal books went out within the United States, Canada, South America, Europe, Netherlands, Spain, Australia and Israel. Some books were lost in the mail, I even lost some pages myself during a move over the summer months, but in the end... it was beautiful!

Here is a video from that glorious time!

If you ask any of the participants of this project they will tell you how deeply moved they have been as a result of committing to producing a page or two for The Goddess Chronicles. That in itself is reward enough for me, especially from women who called me paralyzed with fear because they did not consider themselves artists.  They now have a different perspective on what it means to create your soul's artwork. I tear up just thinking about what has manifested as a result of my own dreams.

The theme each artist expressed in this traveling art journal was to inspire young and old; girls and women alike with messages from the heart to
DREAM BIG! Many times we can get lost or overwhelmed in life. It is easy to forget about the beauty that is present in each and everyday. The Goddess Chronicles is a book that vibrates with the intention to never give up on your dreams! Perhaps you will find that this book speaks to your niece, daughter, best friend, grandmother, mother, aunt… any woman. If so, look below to purchase your very own copy. Part of the proceeds will be donated to Girls Inc. of San Antonio.

Dia De Los Muertos 2013

Yes! This is one of my favorite times of year for sure. After a brief retreat last week I came home renewed and refreshed ready to honor all of my end of year commitments. One of those is a mini e-course with Hermana Sagrada (Sacred Sister) Sisterhood.

For two weeks between October 18 and November 4 we will be celebrating El Dia De Los Muertos also known as The Day of the Dead. If you would like to join us to learn more about this holiday that honors those who have passed and some fun art projects.

Your investment is $37. You can register here.

You will receive access to our private online classroom. We will be posting articles, activities, and art projects that you can do yourself or with  your family. Sugar Skulls, masks, altars and much more! Although this is predominantly a Mexican holiday, many cultures around the world celebrate Dia De Los Muertos as a way to affirm the cycle of life and death with rituals and ceremonies special to each  culture.

You will also have a chance to enter our Dia De Los Muertos Art Contest. Post your artwork to Hermana Sagrada’s Facebook Group under the Album titled Dia De Los Muertos Art Contest 2013 by November 2nd for a chance to win a free spot on the next Hermana Sagrada online ecourse. The album will be open on October 1st and closed on November 2nd. Winners will be chosen at random. We will announce 3 winners on November 4th. Each artwork posting is an entry so the more you post the more chances you have to win!

Are you ready to celebrate in honor of your loved ones? This fun e-course will help you carve a space to rejoice in the spirit of those you have loved that have transitioned on.
