I was also honored when Jen Saunders (Creator and Chief Wild Sister) asked me to add an article and put my artwork on the cover of the February edition! Look at what Jen is up to now! Read below as she announces the Wild Sister of the Year Awards 2013. You can nominate yourself or you can please take the time to nominate someone you feel deserves this! You can make a Wild Sister's day! And it just feels good to honor someone who has changed you in someway.
Jen's words: I am beyond excited to announce the first annual Wild Sister of the Year Awards! I have dreamed about doing this since the day I started Wild Sister Magazine.
Wild Sister Magazine & the Wild Sisterhood are all about inspiring women to love themselves, follow their bliss and change the change the world.
I know there are so many women in our global community who are living examples of our message and I'm both thrilled and honoured to be able to reward and celebrate some of these wild sisters.
The Wild Sister of the Year Awards is just one way that we want to give back and continue to spread our message of love, inspiration and empowerment.
These awards are open to all women and girls of any age, from anywhere in the world!

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
The Wild Sister of the Year is someone who is kind, compassionate, optimistic and not afraid to be herself.
She’s a trail-blazer and world-changer, passionate about her work and always looking for the positives in any situation.
She believes in herself and is determined to make our world a better place.
She has overcome a lot and stayed positive through it all, and she could really use $1,000 and Wild Sisterhood membership to get closer to her dreams.
She fits into one or more of these categories:
- Fights for the rights of equality, animals, the environment or women.
- Spreads a message of love, positivity, health and kindness
- Runs (or wants to start) a non-profit
- Runs (or wants to start) her own business that will allow her to live her passion and change lives
- Uses her words/art/writing/photography/dance/expertise to inspire others
